Reall although we haven't seen an all water stage or a charcater under the water, don't rule it out yet. I know they made an effort to increase the action in the air, why not take the action to the water? I can already see a batle where someone is getting pummelled and they take to the water. The other character follows them to find out that their moves don't quite work the same wet and the one who was getting pummelled becomes the pummeller. The water/air tactics are the new AT's in fact I dub them WAT's! Like I said previously the AT's as we knew then are gone and Brawl has something else entirely.

The only problem with that is that people who attendid Ei is For All said that while characters can swim in the water on Delphino Plaza, you can only do it for a second or so, and then you sink.

I do agree that an all water stage would be cool, though. Maybe underwater? The only problem is who it'd be assigned to. However, i think that's a discussion that should be in the 'Stage Discussion' forum.

Stafy! It's not a hard thing to think about.

I so hope there is underwater stages that would be neat

to explain how they stay underwater they could have oxygen masks visible on their characters

The odd thing is that characters who usually wouldn't have the ability to swim (ie Charizard and Sonic) now have the ability to, thankfully. Hey, do you think Kirby will don the mask and snorkel when he lands in the water?

I know its being picky but I thought Charizard couldn't let its flame die out

I can imagine that in the water, Fox's Landmaster Tank would sink. Gravity would have that as well.

Most of the final Smashes would fail. Volt tackle would kill everything, including Pikachu.

I think it's just for anything near water. thankfully, none of the characters will drown. I'd like to see how controls are when you're in the water.

You know what would be really awesome? A stage kind of similar to Shadow Moses, except it's underwater. Basically just a dome (like Atlantis or something) that keeps the characters dry, but in order to kill your opponent you have to break the glass dome around you, but when you do, water fills the stage. I can see a lot of new strategies with this.

And hey...it's super smash bros. Charizard can be underwater and still use his b move...why not?

I hope that Sonic sinks like a stone. That's the way it should be. I don't care if Charizard can swim, but Sonic better not!

He can't swim in the first place. He just can see underwater and jump out of the water. And hold his breath long.

Having water in the stage is a great tactic and equalizer. It could render some attacks useless as well as some characters.

Now that we are on this subject how about Water and Air taunts. Or at least taunts that can actually damage an opponent if used in the Air or Water, see where I am going?
