Whats the likelyhood of Phoenix Wright for 3DS?

The way I look at it, it seems pretty likely considering the facts.

- Capcom third party already confirmed (megaman)
- Phoenix Wright is an important series for the DS systems (ongoing series, well recognized)
- New Pheonix Wright game recently

Well all character are on both rosters so I'd say no. PW was a weird fit for MvC3 and he'd be even weirder for SSB. Or maybe not... I'd rather professor layton or Maxwell from scribblenauts make it in.

But we already have Megaman. We're not getting another Capcom character.

We're not getting a second Capcom character.

We're more likely to get a second character from the Sonic franchise than another Capcom character, and that's not saying much as getting more than one character from the same third party is very unlikely.

As much as I love Phoenix Wright, I'd rather have Professor Layton as our finger pointing gentleman.

Also, just because Capcom has a character already in the game doesn't mean they get to have another.

That alone makes him not plausible of getting in by itself. Plus he doesn't have the fan support like Megman or Sonic did and no idea if Sakurai and Wright's creator are friends. Very unlikely.
