I can't tell you, you might be a paid assasin.
You guys assume way to much about Kirby's exclusion from the E4All demo. He was completely playable for the SSE videos so he obviously wasn't receiving some major overhaul.
When you say playable for the SSE videos what do you mean? If you were actually at E for all you would know that nobody actually plays those thinngs. It's just a gameplay video they show you.

And we see him fighting with basically every move in his arsenal, including in a standard deathmatch with items vs. Mario. There was in-game footage of him a year and a half ago. Do people really think that Sakurai's team has come this far without even finishing the characters?

About the ZSS and Samus FS ideas. If Kirby copied FS', maybe he'd just do the attack part, not the transformation part.

I think, or at least I HOPE, that Kirby is going through a little moveset makeover. He really needs to be improved.

By the looks of the videos so far, kirby is definatelky faster and heavier than in melee... and he's got some good new attacks, like the yo-yo dash ability...

Maybe the secret is that when Kirby gets the Smash Ball while he has another characters stolen move that he does their Final Smash (or a Kirbyfied version of it). Think about it. When you steal someones move with Kirby you use Neutral B to do that move. You also use that button to activate the Final Smash. It really wouldn't surprise me if you could steal the Final Smash as well.
This is the greatest idea ever. I just cant get this thought out of my mind after you posted this. I mean WOW THAT WOULD JUST BE ****. It makes sense like you said too; you grab the smash ball as the copied person and you press the b button or 1 (i think its the 1 button if your using the wii remote) and you use your opponents FS. That would be a real good change to kirby.

I love the idea of kirby being able to use other people's final smashes, but I think it would be a little too much work for one character. They would have to make special "kirbyfied" versions of Wario Man, and Giga Bowser. Not to mention ZSS's and Pokemon trainer's Final smashes seem like they would be awkward and hard to pull off. I don't know, it just seems like all of that work could have been used for creating something else, especially considering that these Kirbified versions aren't going to be seen as often.

However, maybe I'm exaggerating the amount of effort it takes to give kirby all of those final smashes. For most of them, I'm sure the animation could remain, but with Kirby instead of the actual character.

Absorbing other character's final smashes/other special moves: doubtful, would take away from his uniqueness
absorbing ATs and pok'emon: would be horrendously complicated, wouldn't mind it, but very doubtful
absorbing certain items (or at least being able to eat them): hopeful

I think they still need to finish some abilities because sonic was just put in about a month ago and they're probably going to make kirby better

For Wario Man, they would only have to give him the little onion texture thing, and for Giga Bowser, Kirby would just grow bigger. Not difficult at all. ZSS, he would just shoot a beam from his mouth, or do a kamehameha wave. For PT, two other Kirbys could randomly appear, and they would shoot the individual blasts.
