What's the best capturing device around?

I'm not exactly sure if this topic fits here, but I've been wanting to record some of my Smash Bros. footage, along with maybe making walkthroughs for other video games. What's the best capturing device I can use? I was thinking of getting a Dazzle, but those aren't actively distributed anymore are they?

Also, I'm not too fond of online shopping, so what stores are available that sell these kinds of things?

Actually, you can still buy a Dazzle even at stores (Best Buy, Radioshack) or online...and there is a specific model that sells at $39.99 for price convenience

Its hard to determine what u mean by best.

Cheapest and decent quality: EasyCap for sure (20$)
Decent Price, better than Easy Cap quality: Dazzle (50$)
Most expensive top of the line quality: Any integrated Capture card costing over 200$
