I have a question? If you have an empty void or an undying thrist for something and enough is never enough no matter how much you get it's still never enough. If you chase this not caring what harm it's done to you does that make you selfish or greedy?

Think about it before you answer yourself. Because I just reliazed How much of a empty void I am how it's impossible to be enough.

I try to do what's right and make myself a better/wiser person. I don't care how much I take I hurt myself in a few ways to make myself better. I also question a lot what is better?

No matter how nice/awesome I am I'm never enough to be amazing or anything. I'm not just humble but I believe i'm not very good. I'm trying to fix this. why i'd also like to know people's veiws on greed, greediness, and selfishness.

There has to be an oppeset because if not how could we know something is selfish if we can't compare it to anything esle.

greedy is to look for those opportunities.

Selfishness is to not give equally to what you have taken from another.

if I hurt myself I hurt people who care about me but some want me to hurt myself to be a better person : O. hurting others isn't linked to being selfish always.

I think the problem with morals is the face morals are real enough to follow a rule I know to be extremely true.

You can't ever say always or say never because somewhere some how there is a way other it making it right or wrong or whatever even this rule.

Greed is always selfishness. Sometimes I get greedy and feel like writing asinine posts that no one can understand, simply because I thought of something cool and haven't really bothered to spend time meshing out the detailed points. It is selfish because I did it in order to make myself happy and not the readers. For all I know, they could hate me for having horrible grammar and not making any effort to make my posts understandable. But you know what, I'm greedy and don't care what other people think. Therefore I'll continue writing in the same way and won't bother to change my current style because it's the most comfortable style that I have and I'm too lazy to meet the common standard.

also if you are reffering to me I laugh at you good sir for many reasons.: I posted it before I fully understood so I could understand I really wanted people's veiws because it is very likly I am wrong about things I simplely am trying to open myself up to understand the workings of other respectable minds.

I was never taught how to sound out letters so it's very hard for me to spell compared to most people.

As far as caring about others I really don't give a flying f*** about myself all that much I care about others more. You again don't know who I amnor have any REAL proof only you thinking you know. Like you don't understand that I am a very very very calm and mellow person BUT i'm also very wild and love to run around at school like a madman. I don't know howyou are so I won't try to reflect onto things in which I don't understand because it's clearly unwise to think without reason.

HOWEVER i'd like to thank you for amepting to show me a different view even if you were trying to be rude or not again thank you no matter your reason.

You are greedy if you want to have goods, or qualities purely for the sake of possession. It's got nothing to do with wanting things you don't have. In fact, I'd say the opposite is bad. As soon as your satisfied with what you have or are, you no longer have goals. You have nothing to achieve, nothing to live for. That is a far worse fate than never being satisfied.

Chase your goals. Even if you'll never reach them, the pursuit is far more satisfying than sitting around doing nothing.

Greed is the incentive to do something for our own gain which doesn't necessarily mean that it is an act that will hurt others, although in general it will (in varying degrees).
I believe that everybody is greedy to a certain level. Most people merely pursue to have more money/stuff and will generally work for these kinds of things, while some people will stop at nothing to practically take over the world. To give an example of the latter, I suggest looking up how MS operated in the 90's.

I consider myself reasonably greedy (I can never have too much games or music) and will probably try to avoid spending money/effort on it if possible.
