What's a good general plan against Meta Knight?

I don't really have a main and use a lot of characters. I just need to know what's a good general strategy that should be used against a skilled Meta Knight player with every character.

In my opinion, learning the MK's playstyle is more important than ever in this matchup. Predict him, make him screw up, and counter with a quick, yet effective attack/grab. Oh, and learn to avoid being hit a lot by nado-spammage.

Both are tought to punish if they do it right.

Like others said, you need to learn how MK plays. Just find a good MK and practice.

Also, never edgeguard him from above, just in case you didn't know.
