It’s that time of year again, despite it being 2 months later than every year past. The new E3 approaches, this time a much more simple affair, but still bringing gaming news. Why am I mentioning E3 now? We will most likely get some sort of Brawl news there, but the thing everyone wants is a playable demo.

….which is sadly what we are not going to be seeing, according to the blog of Chris Kohler, a gaming journalist who’s worked for a variety of gaming magazines, including Nintendo Official Magazine UK. He’s heard via Game|Life’s media relations representative at Nintendo that Brawl will not be playable at E3, though they were told that it’s still on track for an 07 release.

Check out his brawl post on the subject. It’s a good read, and he makes some good points as to Nintendo’s possible reasoning behind not having a demo.

I can imagine swarms of people fighting over getting to play the demo version. Perhaps this decision is wise.

Yeah if they did let Brawl be a playable demo not many people would have a chance to play it. I wonder if Microsoft is going to make Halo 3 a playable demo or if Grand Theft Auto 4 will be a demo because what happens to them might be exactly like what would happen to Brawl

They would need a lot of medics and police if there was a playable demo. People would fight just to play it. It angers me that E3 is later than usual. I was really looking forward to a new trailer or release date come E3 but now I have to wait longer. I wonder why.

Maybe because they didn’t have enough enough content for the Three Titans yet that they had to put back the whole E3 because of it.

They dont want to put the demo because everyone would be rioting trying to play with falco… who would **** a pillage to play as falco…okay maybe not **** but defenitly pillage

Falco hasn’t even been confirmed. I think they’ll bring in Starwolf instead.

Cj>Dont say that because if Falco was not in this game it would crush all my opes and dreams. I would curl up in the featle position and cry with a diaper on. :(

Hopefully since there is no playable demo they’ll reveal some really amazing information. Like the release date orsome more third party characters. If Sonic isn’t announced I’m just going to assume he isn’t in because this is the best shot for the most publicity., and there’s no way they would keep him hidden with all the hype he would bring.

Nice Falco***ker. Maybe they’ll both get in. As for Ratliff02 chances are Sonic will be in the game, almost every gaming magazine and website think so. If Sonic is announced I think it might bring some classic Sega players to Brawl. Same with Megaman

Peach better be back. :o I actually think she will be back, Sakurai wanted her and Bowser in the 64 version (yet there wasn’t enough time). I don’t think he’d cut her.

Noone would be hurt if they had Brawl demo:
A. Because it would prolly Have 45 t.v.’s
B. Ther won’t be very many peeps there, just game developers journalists, important peeple and G4

With E3 scaled down, the demo space also seems like it would be reduced. In that case, demos are likely reserved for games that need to have their control schemes demonstrated as effective, such as an entirely new IP. The Wii is a machine that must be played to be appreciated, after all.

When you fought Master Hand in 64 and Melee, there were no items. This may be because Master Hand cannot work with items. Will you be able to fight Master Hand with items? I just want to annhialate the hand with a Final Smash.

What’s really interesting about Master Hand is that sometimes it’s solid and sometimes it’s like a hologram.
