What would justify a one month delay for you?

If Brawl had to be delayed one month, what could nintendo add that would make that O.K. for you? I would want more community based online system (i.e. leaderboards rankings system no friend codes)Or a demo.(MUST READ THIS) Oh and btw, it may be off topic, but today I was playing a level 6 mario just to get the feel of Melee again, and he edge teched!!

Well I know a lot of people just recently joined the Brawl bandwagon a couple months ago or sometime last year. But alot of us have been following this game since word of its development first spread. I know personally I feel like I've been waiting for a long time when it's only been almost 2 years.

A month wait would be justified if they find some way of greatly improving the gameplay. At this point, the game should have enough content.

-fixed serious imbalances that became apparent through testing

Probably other things too. The game appears to have a lot of content already. While more content is great, at some point you have to finish.

I agree with Coselm.
It's better to wait and get a game that is a close to perfection as possible than to rush recklessly for a release that isn't as it could have been.
If Brawl were delayed again, I would personally rest assured that it would end up an utterly epic game, Game of the Year of 2008, hands down.

I'd gladly wait another month for whatever reason. Mainly because I have a big deadline coming near the end of February, and Brawl will not help me make that, to say the least /

Well yeah I could tolerate another month. But anything over that would become a little frustrating in my opinion. =/

It would be worth it to me if ALL characters in Melee were in Brawl, and the clone characters would have totally new movesets.

That, or put in characters from Tales of Symphonia (Lloyd or Kratos) or from Naruto (Haku) or from KH (Sora).

At this point, nothing. It's too close to the release date in Japan to delay it for gameplay issues. I could see another delay happening if they find some fault with the packaging, but that would only postpone the release a couple of weeks at the most.

The only thing that would justify a one month delay for me would be if they had some extra work to do AND if they released a playable demo similar to the E4All demo, but with customizable settings instead of the 2 minute timer. =D

It would take one of two things to justify another month...

1) Ensuring that the characters I WANT in the game are playable. Screw Geno, Krystal, and what everybody else wants.

2) That the game will be released on Wii and also coincide with the launch of Sega Dreamcast 2, alongside a brand new (and GOOD) 3D Sonic Adventure game, Shenmue 3, and Power Stone 3 with massive Godly online play.

I don't mind another month or two. If they made Goroh a playable as well as fix Roy to be his own and made an add of one more third-party who called in the last minute, then I'd be cool. (Make Eirika in Brawl too, Micaiah is cool but Eirika is awesome.)

Its seemed so long that waiting isn't that bad. We've got Smash Boards but when the game comes out, this place is going to be empty except for newbs and hardcore tournament players.

I'd say that they can take as long as they need, as long as they give us a demo. Then, everyone wins. No one complains and the game will be the best if can be.

At this point im tired of the wait also. Im tired of practicing combos on lvl 9 CPU's that don't tech or DI, im Tired of my friends not being able to keep up with me, and im tired of the lack of comp. I wan't to get online so i can get my but whooped, only way to make me better and keep the game fun.
