What would happen if you take Fox and made it so he cant Air dodge out of his Shine Jump. But made it so that his Side-b was a slower frame rate and he could Jump cancel out of it.

Well, it just would not happen in PM. It would ruin fox as a whole.

So we could no longer waveshine, but we could wavedash/whatever else out of illusion...

He would play similar to Ike with his quickdraw shenaningans, except without the reach, weight, or recovery. He also has a dash and run that, considering you can jump out of those and are basically instant, would far outclass the side B's new uses. It gives him a LITTLE bit better recovery (illusion->double jump->fire fox), but not by much.

On the negative side, we can't waveshine. There goes half of our shield pressuring abilities. Although, by how you worded it, we could still shffl->shine->shffl. However, saying "what if he couldn't *airdodge* out of his *shine jump*" tells me you don't quite understand how the physics work. If he could still jump out of shine, he could still do whatever anyone else can do out of jump. They would have somehow have to code it to make ONLY Fox unable to airdodge after jumping after shining, which is ridiculously specific.

So, no. At all. Bad idea. Creative, though. Keep it up!
