Smash 3DS What will you do first in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS?

(No, this Thread is NOT for the same purpose as the "The First Match you will do." thread.)

So... the game's coming out pretty darn soon, especially for those lucky enough to own a Japanese 3DS, but the question on my mind (and probably alot of other people) is "What will you do first when you get the Game?"
Will you do Classic Mode to kick it off? Test out the new buffs/nerfs for characters in Training Mode? Unlock Characters by 1-Stock 2.0DRatio Match-Spamming? Try out Smash Run, or the new modes? Jump on Online immediately?
So much cool things to do, but what to do First? Feel free to discuss!

As for me, I'm going to head to Smash Run first thing, then hit Online once I get used to the game.

2 other of my friends are getting the game at launch, so we'll have a sleep over the night before and then wait for the midnight release. Then we'll do a lot of stock free for alls.

First thing I'm doing is finding the options menu to see what all can be done. If I can turn tap jump off i will most likely do it. How I hope this game has custom controls like brawls control customization is.

Me, my brother, and my friend are getting the game at launch I believe. So we'll probably go to my friends house and play Smash Run a few times, then stay up all night unlocking all the characters. Once that is achieved, the next day we will be playing 3 stock matches all day.

If this is not the case and my friend isnt getting the game on launch, then me and my brother will go home and play Smash Run alot like ten times, then play 3 stock matches til we unlock all the characters. Then the next day we'll play a bunch of 3 stock matches.

If THAT'S not the case, I'll probably stay up alone unlocking all the characters, then the next day I'll find some people on Smashboards, get their friend codes, and play Online with them.

But besides that, I'll be picking up the Japanese version first and will probably rush to unlock whoever I can (Robin and Lucina take priority). If Robin is available, I'll probably launch into a Smash Run as him to try him out.

When the English version comes out, I'll probably rush to unlock characters to play with my friend then.

My plan is to have a job by this time lol but if I don't: day 1will be spent unlocking, day 2-3 is spent testing characters as well as learning tactics like wave dash/wave land if possible, day 4-5 will be spent on other modes in the game and by the end of the first week I'll start in For Glory

Round robin tournament with friends before any of us have played a single match, and then either a bunch of FFAs, Smash Run, 1v1s, or whatever else we feel like doing. I'll have plenty of single player time when others are in class.

Classic Mode with Mario. Then I'm going to work my way down the roster, also in Classic mode, and the first thing I do with each character that I unlock is go through Classic mode with them once. This way I'll learn the fundamentals of each character, cover a bunch of potential unlock methods for new characters and work my way towards 100% completion all at once.

Yeah. It's by no means a quick undertaking.
Interspersed within that routine will be experimenting with others modes, as well, but 100%-ing Classic will be my initial goal.

I was originally like that about Mega Man, then Greninja came along. I might switch again if they announce a character from Advance Wars, but I don't think that that will happen.

Believe it or not, Smash Run. I'll be taking a bus to buy the game so on the way back I'll be curious to see if maybe I can get a quick unlock that way. With how much they've been pushing it I'd be surprised if there wasn't something.

The first thing I usually do in Smash is browse through the entire menu, see what's here and there, what's this and that.
I then proceed to conquer Classic Mode with either Rock (if he's a starter) or Villager (if he/she is a starter).

After that, I'll play a Random FFA in VS, then Classic Mode and Smash Run...

The first day is to unlock characters and practice with Lucina, because the saturday will be a whole day of VS against my friends...

Whenever I get a new game I always go into the settings and set every thing to my liking. (Which means remove those black lines around the characters) Then probably play a 1v1 match to get use to the controls.

Smash run with Wii Fit Trainer first. Ghen browsing the menus and trying all the modes (as Wii Fit Trainer).

Then Smash Run as Rosalina/Robin/Jigglypuff and switching characters each time until I've tried them all, especially characters I've unlocked custom parts for.

Like many above, I will mess with settings first. I'll set up my controls, set the music/sfx ratio to 70/30, mess with the music probabilities, see what outline type I like best, and so on.

Then, I'll run through Classic mode with all of the characters. If he's available right away, then I'll naturally play as Ness first. Otherwise, probably Robin, and then Rosalina. <3

I love the methodical approach, it's exactly what I'm going to do and now I don't need to type it out. :D

Me and a friend will get it at launch, but I think I will be able to get it some hours before him (different class hours), so I guess I will stick to playan classic matches and discovering all the options and when he arrives we will play together .
