I just made a video about this topic. This is my hope for a character i would like to see. I also think we will get most of the roster revealed in time for the 3ds game

H-here we g-go... (Moe face)

We goin' to the caves, man. Ice Climbers, Charizard, Lucario, and Meta Knight are training in the usual Smash style.

Two people, watching from the shadows, nod to each other and ambush the four. One happens to have a teal outfit and messy blue hair, while the other seems to be a shrine maiden...

Wait for it...

Wait for it...

I said wait.

Fine, here you go!

Donbe & Hikari
Start a New Tale!

Well, that just happened. Gameplay shows that they fight as a duo, but except with their own fighting style combining Donbe's strength with Hikari's quick wits (No specifics right now). Just when things are GETTIN' GUD, though, the six are trapped in a swirl of dark energy. They all seem like they're struggling to get out, but what happens is a fist punching the floor. Defeated, the rest of the characters look up to happen upon the mysterious creature.

Mewtwo
Returns at Last!

Again, that just happened. The stage the initial four were fighting on is now confirmed to be Cerulean Cave. Mewtwo shows off, among other things, some drastic moveset changes.
  • Mewtwo whips out a spoon for his jab, Kinesis. This spoon hovers two steps away from Mewtwo and spins wildly before Mewtwo finishes the combo with a hand blast, after which the spoon puffs out of existence. Psychic powers are weird like that, you know?
  • Psycho Cut is go for forward smashery; Mewtwo crosses his arms while charging, and then uncrosses them, generating pink blades of energy.
  • Small sun-like balls rapidly circle around Mewtwo in his new down smash, Sunny Day. I'm not even kidding; you know you're the strongest Pokémon when you can literally attack with Sunny Day.
  • Shadow Ball is replaced with Psystrike, which can Paralyze without charge and becomes a homing missile at full charge. Although Mewtwo can't store a Psystrike charge, he can deflect other projectiles with the move.
  • Confusion gets swapped out for Brick Break, which works the same as Counter.
  • Down Special looks like Disable, but is now Future Sight instead.
  • Overall, anything dark-energy related in Mewtwo's move effects is replaced with sparks or pink flames (Properly representing Mewtwo's Psychic type!)
General montage steps in, segueing into Final Smashes for the revealed characters. Donbe and Hikari get help from the mighty Otohime, and Mewtwo goes with his Mega Mewtwo Y form (In stark contrast to Mega Charizard X), powering up his attacks vastly.
