What will each character's stories be in The Subspace Emissary? (Speculation Thread)

I think that this storyline will be done by all the characters in the game and that there is no individual story like most fighting games.

Assuming this is the case, what will be their roles. Right now, it's rather vague with the exception of Pit.

Use this as a guide:

The Adventure mode also emphasizes character development. You’ll see many famous characters persevering under the weight of their personal histories, shouldering their unique burdens... It’s really something you won’t see anywhere else.

Here's my guess for Lucas. Warning, this contains some extremely major spoilers for MOTHER 3. Don't look if you have hope for an English release.












Lucas: His events will take place after MOTHER 3. The Ancient Minister finds Pokey in his Absolute Safety Capsule and somehow (and I mean somehow) gets him out. The two agree to work together to hurl the world into Subspace. Pokey creates an army of Primids that all look like the Pig Mask Soldier except for one. One of them has the appearance of Claus as the Masked Man. Eventually, Lucas encounters this doppledanger. However, Lucas doesn't want to go through that painful experience again.

Glad I'm not the only one that notices it. I'd like a REAL cool plot turn in the game. The Ancient Minister grants every villain in the SE a wish or power. He manages to revitalize Pokey back to his youth, and builds him a primid like Spider Mech. I'm crossing my fingers for some epic boss battles. New Pork City will be cool as well.

We really don't know how that'll work assuming the playable villains are in the story. I mean, it's one thing for Pokey to be a villain but what about Bowser?

Pokemon Trainer could go up against Mewtwo, who's been possesed by a primid like monster making him invincible to a certain degree. Bowser can still be in. Just cause he's playable doesn't mean he can't be a boss. Same thing with Mewtwo, he can be in a Primid-ified clown car to attack Mario.

Captain Syrup now leads a gang of Black Sugar Pirates that have been empowered (With primids of course) She controls a Genie type primid to attack Wario.

Let's see. He could just be stuck in the turmoil by being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Come to think of it, is it possible that all Melee vets will be in some sort of coliseum like Mario, Kirby, Peach, and Zelda were?

Red will lead a giant army of his pokemon into battle against the primid. He will get blown up by snake who is being mind controlled by Ancient Minister. the pokemon will fill the air with sparkling tears of magic and friendship and his unrecognizable charred body will be healed.

Ridley tries breathing fire @ Geno, he will simply run behind him. Ridley tries uses his gun foot to put holes in Geno and Geno will uses his blast guns to fry some part of Ridley.
