What victory fanfares would you change?

Simple. Are there any other pieces you would use as victory fanfares for certain characters?

I would change the victory fanfare for all the playable Pokemon. Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Charizard and eventually Mewtwo would have a re-orchestration of the fanfare that plays when you successfully capture a Pokemon in the original Pokemon games and their G3 remakes. Lucario and Greninja would have the Pokemon capture fanfare from G2 onward. It's strange that they don't do that.

I'd mainly just want all the returning ones remixed, and possibly a different arrangement for each character in a series (like what they did with Bowser/Bowser Jr.).

Gannondorf should have his "Enter Gannondorf" theme from Ocarina of Time.

Everyone has a unique one, with the "main" characters of each series keeping the ones they have now (like Mario, Link, Kirby, etc). Some ideas I had:

- Short rendition of the Luigi's Mansion main theme
- Either "The Princess is Rescued!" from Super Mario Bros or the course clear theme from Super Mario Bros 2
- Game Over theme from Super Mario Bros
- Game Over theme from Super Mario World (more fitting for the Koopalings but still)
- The Mario series victory fanfare from Melee
- Jigglypuff's Song from Red/Blue/Yellow & the anime
(Mewtwo) - "Caught a Pokemon!" fanfare
- Victory VS Wild Pokemon from Red/Blue/Yellow
- Gym Leader Badge fanfare
- Some sort of medley of fanfares from when you change clothes in XY

The Mii's should have a short rendition of the Mii Maker theme instead of the Smash 4 theme.

Ness should have his Melee theme.

Dr. Mario should have a short version of Fever or Chill, either one's fine.

Ganondorf not having a different variation of the LoZ theme or having his own unique fanfare altogether is silly when you consider Dark Pit and Bowser have their own fanfares.

Ganondorf should have his own. Mega Man's should be the fanfare when you beat a Robot Master. When Mewtwo comes out, he should also have his own theme.

Mega Man 1 Stage Clear theme for victory music instead of just Mega Man 2 remix.

Replace the 06 victory music with the one from Adventure 2/Generations. I mean seriously, 06 was not only a terrible game, but was never even on a Nintendo platform.

I agree and disagree. 06's stage results jingle is just a remix of Sonic 3 & Knuckles' victory theme, which has been an iconic jingle since that game, and has also been in Adventure 1. It's a shame it wasn't further used for other games later on.

If I had to change it I'd just change it to something like Generations' start screen jingle.

Yeah, I love it because it's originally from Sonic 3.

I love that characters from the same series are starting to get unique theme songs. As many have said, Ganondorf and IMO Toon Link both need unique fanfares.

Robin and Lucina could get a more FE:A inspired theme too.

The Adventure 2/Generation's stage clear music is also a remix of Sonic 3's stage clear music. I should also mention that I think that considering the electric guitar used in a lot of Sm4sh's soundtrack, such as Final Destination Version 2, and the Xenoblade Medley, I think the Adventure 2/Generation remix fits more than 06's remix.

I'd give either a) all characters a unique theme, or b) character groups themes (like how Bowser and Jr share one), or c) game-based unique themes (Robin and Lucina would differ from Marth who would differ from Ike).

And I'd change Ness's back to the Sound Stone tune from 64/Melee since the representation is once again reduced to Earthbound alone, and not the Mother trilogy.

But I'm also satisfied with the ones from Brawl.

Am I the only one that finds Kirby's Melee fanfare kinda creepy like in the same way you would find old pictures in old abandoned houses creepy? I prefer Brawl's because I think it suits Kirby more while I find the Melee one oddly suits Dedede more.

I'd also change Wario's to the fanfare that played when you cleared someone's stage for the first time in the first WarioWare game. His current theme doesn't have any basis in anything.

No, it was the same in Brawl, and that came before WL: Shake It. I do see the resemblance, though, so the latter probably came from the former.

Ah, interesting. Well, now it has some sort of relation to his series in the new game, albeit in a bit of a convoluted way.

I would want every character to have an exclusive fanfare, like how in Mario Strikers all the characters have exclusive tunes. They're slowing doing that with Rosalina, the Bowsers, Meta Knight, and Dark Pit, but hopefully in the next game each character gets a theme that really embodies the character.

- Ness now has the Battle Victory theme from Mother 2.
- Dark Pit now has Pit/ Palutena's theme.
- Sonic now has a new remix of his current theme.
- Mega Man now has the Stage Clear theme from Mega Man 1.

- His own theme may be a bit too slow-paced for a fanfare, but a remade bit from Gerudo Desert would be nice!

- Fever.

- I like the current one, but i'd wish for The vocal part of the Dribble and Spitz stage from the first Wario Ware.


I am happy with the rest, though. All of them, actually, those are just wishes never to become true :-)

I kinda wish Toon Link and Ganondorf had their own victory themes. The main Zelda one is too heroic for Ganondorf, and too serious sounding for Toon Link.

I don't know what I'd give Ganondorf, but Toon Link could get something based off of Outset Island or the Great Sea theme.
