why? a lot of people who went didn't bring their cameras to record, and a lot of good players that I saw didn't record their matches. A lot of fanatics recorded, though. Most people in general weren't good, and a LOT of the recordings were of random people playing, so you're going to get videos of casual players.
I don't think there was a lot of people recording their own fights, rather just people pointing their cameras at random screens and recording fights. Like I said.
Just be grateful that you have footage.
I recorded my very first brawl game on the first day during the first hour of the Expo. I had a guy behind me record my match against my friend. The video is pretty much me and him testing air dodging and trying to wavedash at the beginning, then began to fight. Just testing out my Samus to get the feel of the game's engine. I was crappy compared to how well I play in Melee with Samus. I'm not a "pro", but I'm **** good, and can wavedash all day long...but Brawl is something different...way different.
I recorded another video of my friend playing as Bowser. He actually played very well compared to our first video. Again, not nearly as well as how he plays in Melee...but the game is very different
Also, consider that it's 2 mins, and there are items appearing everywhere.
Stop critiquing the videos for not being full of pros. You wouldn't understand because you weren't there, and couldn't be there...but if you were, you'd stop sniveling about it.

PS> if you find videos of 1 vs 1's (2 players), then they are most likely using the Classic Controller at E-for-All. If you find videos of 4-player games, then they are using the Sideways WiiMote. The 4-player games are from the stage floor where the loud Nintendo Girls are announcing the gameplay from the main screen. They only had the sideways wiimote (which is incredibly hard to play with like a pro...impossible at E-for-All).
