What Smash 4 Videos do you want Overswarm to create?

Hey Smash 4 players!

You probably know me either from my Melee tutorials from back in the day, my shenanigans during the Brawl era, or my more recently Smash 4 videos going over the history of our ruleset decisions (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=whAmI2HdBqw and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SQH_LUdkfkY )... that Praxis got all the karma for <3.

I'm currently working on a video that is going to go over how to counter some custom moves and tactics that people seem to be struggling with. Once that's done, I want to make more!

But I'll need your help, because what is interesting to me isn't necessarily interesting to you guys.

What do you want to see more videos of?

Underrated characters? Untapped potential and a hint at what the future will hold? How to run a tournament? How to foster a smash community within your area? Character tutorials? Joke videos? Combo videos? Overview of stages not being used that potentially could be? Interviews with top players? How to improve at Smash? How to let Smash work for you in the "real world"? Analysis of games?

Let me know what you want, whether it's from the above list or something totally different. Depending on the subject, videos could be very simple (audio + image stills) or more complex (video clips, proper editing), but I hope to create as many as possible before my life becomes busy again.

It's a big Smash 4 tournament that will feature Zero, Armada, Hbox, Leffen, I forget all the names. But it'll be neat to watch. If you can travel, you should go there and meet me!

We'll be doing some especially neat things with Smash 4....

Underrated characters would be nice. Some like the Mii Gunner, Metaknight or G&W really need some lightspot, like many other characters. You could put this with character tutorials, with the help of well known mains of underrated characters.

Combo videos on a specific theme could be nice. Nowadays, we either see combos on one character or funny montages. Combo videos on types of characters could be really interresting. It could show off underrated and well known characters. As an example, making a montage on all the italians of the game that would show off Mario, Luigi and Doc (and maybe Wario). It could inspire lots of people, as well as being entertaining.

What about characters living under their Brawl stigma still? Characters who aren't considered much because they were bad in Brawl, or characters who are considered trash because they aren't as good as they were in Brawl or play quite differently.

Glad to hear it. Thank the people from the Character Competitive Impressions thread for bringing that up in the past (I think it was @Ffamran before?)

Stage Analysis would be very benefical to most people. A lot of people just gentlemen to Smashville and don't know the inner workings of Castle Siege and Defilno. This would also help clear up misconceptions about stage blast zones such as ZeRo stating that Smashville has a lower ceiling than FD.

Thirding it. Stage analysis would be great. Maybe even, oh, I don't know, leak that anal lysis analysis into some should be legal non-legal stages like Skyloft?

Sorry for pushing my political agenda, but education is important, and stages tend to be one of the most overly stigmatized areas of competitive smash.

Do one on mah boy Falco.
He's a very underrated character in this game, and he's been swept under the rug for far too long.
He's still got solid options between his bair, fair, and tilts. Also, he's probably got some of the best edgeguarding tools in the game.
