Legend of Zelda What reason is there to not like OoT?

Nah he's clearly being stupid by using rational thought and pointing out good decisions made to make the gameplay better cuz obviously all you gotta do is give the player the ability to easily stab opponents to death for 20 hours, even if you're literally doing the exact same button combination on pretty much the exact same enemy with zero reason to want to continue doing that, cuz, you know, nitpicking.

I think I just hit a point where I seriously don't give two ****s about arguing over video games anymore. I mean, ****, I gave up the pointless argument with Kupo a few pages ago because it was stupid and not going anywhere. And I really don't feel the need to defend my taste in games to you, Falcon. I don't really see a reason to care about game design anymore either. Its not part of my major so why the **** should I bother?

So you don't want to defend your tastes, yet you tried to make a response to a guy saying most modern releases suck by posting games that suit his tastes, then got buttmad the instant I pointed out how that doesn't work because people might not like some of those games because they weren't actually very well done, your response to this was massive salt. Also, you haven't defended anything, you've instead made attacks on logical thought and any attempt to take a logical look at game design, saying that's dumb. Imagine trying to apply that thought process to anything else. Might as well go watch Keeping up with the Kardashians because durrr only reason any wouldn liek dat show is cuz dey nit pickin.

What is there to video games besides mechanics? Sound, graphics/art, and the writing, right?

Which of those four elements affects the way to game plays the most? And why would anyone justify not giving a **** about what makes the game play how it does? You might as well say you don't give a **** about the game because **** I don't know man.
