I was wondering what people have been thinking about the state of our recent presidents Bush, Clinton, and others.

Bush would have been suited more for a reality show rather then running the country.

Clinton was a pimp and a great president, heh.

Lincoln gets a shout out as a great one because my black arse would not be allowed to type this if not for him.

I believe Clinton was a good president, though I am not happy at all with him lying over the Lewinski affair.

Bush is likable enough as a guy, he would be a good neighbor. I hate his foreign policy, ideas on the world, idea that he was divinely picked to be president, and the corruption he has brought to the white house. Of the two presidents I've been old enough to remember (clinton and Bush), bush is clearly worse. I can't say he's the worst president of all time, mainly because I don't think it's true, and also because I wasn't alive during those times and it's not right for me to judge them. Besides, Bush might actually make a middle-east peace treaty (ha ha)

Lincoln is the worst president in history. Despite not caring about black people at all, and the fact that the Confederacy was killing itself economically anyway, the only reason Lincoln wanted the Civil War was to unite the nation and not allow the South to secede. The Constitution IS an agreement, and the South disagreed with it on several levels and had every right to secede. Had Lincoln not been such a violent, warmongering totalitarian, and worked out an economic way to end slavery, and leave the Confederacy alone, I'd have no problems with him. The industrial revolution destroyed the need for slaves as machinery, overall, was a far better investment and never got tired or rebelled. Instead, Lincoln forced the South into an open war and many slaves were killed in the process there of and ended up WILLINGLY fighting the North. I disagree with the South's reasons for seceding (slavery being a key issue) but I do not disagree with their right to secede.

As for presidents - I think any since Lincoln were horrible with a few that did nothing important being less horrible. FDR basically created the economic position we are in with the "New Deal". We have had a string of REALLY bad presidents recently with Reagan (who veered off his right slant economically once being elected), Bush Sr, Clinton, and Bush Jr. Essentially starting with Lincoln every president has been worse than the one before him.

I remember in 1993, when the presidential elections were going on. I was only five or so, but I told my dad Clinton would win. And I only said that because Clinton sounded like Kitten.

I just thought that was a cute story. (I'm a ****ing psychic.)
