Smash has come a long way from its humble beginnings and for a lot of people, Ultimate feels like the definitive entry, whether it's because of the character roster, the competitive side or the sheer attention to detail that goes into each little animation. While there is some stuff from the prior games that would be great to have back (Trophies, Subspace Emissary and the like), SSBU still feels like the most refined entry to date.
