Smash 3DS is coming out very very soon! We will soon have smash again in our lives. Most of us are waiting for the Wii U version. As a smash content creator and all around smash lover, what kind of content on youtube for ex, would you like to see? Character Tutorials? Mode playthroughs? Veteran changes? Tips and tricks? Online play vs other miiverse ppl?

Also if you wanna check out some of my smash, gaming, and animation videos check me out here if you so wish:

By time the U version is out I'll have had my fill of play and watch on the 3DS version, so I'll just be interested in seeing (and/or playing, whenever I get it) whatever U-specific content there is, and some play on the U-specific stages. Basically, whatever isn't present in the 3DS version. That said, if you, for instance, made character guides on the 3DS version, making the same guide in the U version would be good for the increased visibility and shininess resulting from the higher graphics.

I dont think i will be getting the 3DS version, so id love to make or see guides about the wii u game specificaly, but i get your point about most ppl getting thier fill by the time the wii u game comes out.

Of course. That said, there will probably be plenty of people who also have waited for the U version (I know a few, odd as I find the choice to wait extra months for Smash). And making your own guides for characters, stages, differences in FD modes, anything like that, would still be valuable to people, even those who've been playing the 3DS version for a while.

I just want what every fighting game has.
Leaderboards, Win/loss ratios and a spectator mode.

I would love to spectate 1v1's when I had to eat or something.

True. I could get a 3DS for it, but the control scheme setup being different and once the wii u game comes out I cant imagine playing the 3DS game as much. Unless I am on the go, but then I would still need wifi connection to play online. True first world problems lol

An easier way to fight people you meet randomly would be awesome.
I met so many people that were a lot of fun to play against, but it sucked knowing that as soon as I exited the match, I pretty much killed my chance of playing with them again.

The direct said that For Glory allows for 1v1, but I hope that there's a good way to assure that you get it.
FFAs are fun, but I like 1v1s for matchup experience and playstyle experience.

Smoothness and no lag. I ask nothing else of the game.
i guess i miswrote the title for the thread, in terms of video created content

I remember a hacked Melee YT series with Mewtwo as "the wise" and, don't quote me on this, Ness as the main character (does any of you know the name, by any chance?). It'd be amazing, but since that is impossible for a newly released title, I'll go for :4lucina:X and:4robinm:move sets, and some insight into how Classic mode has been pulled off.

I hope my old buddy Tigura makes a new series using Smash 4 after Smash King is done.

VG bootcamp will be your best friend.

And Im sure Maximilian will be doing character breakdowns because he knows it will get views and that means $ for him.
true, but just as he has known street fighter all his life, i have known smash all my life. A different perspective cant hurt.

I plan on makeing a lot of Sm4sh Wii u content when It releases. I would do it for the 3ds version but I don't have a 3ds capture card. I plan on making a video showing off the entire moveset of each character, including custom moves and stuff. I might make a few tutorials for the characters I like such as Ness Robin and Shulk

but I would personally like to see tournament footage and any new tech skills that are discovered.

I plan to make some content on Smash Wii U. My Sonic Lost World playthrough seems to not interest anyone, so I will hope Smash 4 videos will be more appealing.

I plan to make a Rosalina guide for the Rosalina boards, at least. I might make skits and stuff too.

lets plays are hard to get attention with new youtubers. You need that original content that helps you get an audience then they will watch whatever you post

It's not really a let's play, I call it a "Talkthrough" - a combination of what a walkthrough and a let's play, in a way.

This is honestly my biggest concern. The best lead we have is that it says in the traits of For Glory in the April direct that 1v1 matches are a possibility but it doesn't really clarify whether he means you can actually select that as an option or if it's simply saying that the possibility exists that one of your FG matches may be a 1v1 by chance.

:/

I want crappycapturedevice to come back. I understand that he had to abandon his awesome "History Behind Super Smash Bros." videos for personal reasons, but I would have really liked to see him finish up Brawl with enough time to take a year off before diving into Smash 4. His videos were really cool and super in-depth.

When I begin recording Smash U content I'll handle it like I did my former channel: Varied videos around For Fun, For Glory, maybe exhibitions between other members, and other oddities.

Can't wait.

Videos of dudes breathing into the microphone and laughing at their own jokes while they play that somehow generate tens of thousands of dollars in revenue.
