What kind of music do you listen to while playing.

I am making a playlist for when I play in tounaments and would like to get ideas from people. What music gets you pumped?

No, seriously, I prefer upbeat electronic, any sort of rock with flailing guitars, maybe some j-pop, rounded out with game soundtracks, like Smash or Ace Attorney.

Seriously, the pursuit themes from Investigations 1 and 2 get me hyped

I like listening to Drum and Bass, I (subconsciously) try to sync my play with the music.

I listen to instrumental funk with a moderate tempo. Makes me focus, and be more conscious. Helps me read people better.

I don't use any music and pefer the in-game music to be off. Being able to hear the sound effects better helps a lot imo.

Unless I'm stuck in Garden of Hope, I am always completely satisfied with the game's soundtrack. Maybe play the Club Nintendo soundtrack?

If you've ever herd of the band Extreme, pretty much anything of of their album "Pornograffiti" is amazing. A lot of up tempo funk rock.

Also, anything Metal. i.e. Dethklok, Kieth Merrow, Megadeth, All that Remains, Soundgarden, Audioslave, the list is endless....but that's just my personal opinion.

I like mellow songs like The Great Sea or some Animal Crossing music. Any menu music also really helps me relax and focus.

Nujabes. Lots and lots of Nujabes.

Personally, I like to have atmospheric music playing too, so I can keep calm and focus. Otherwise I get flustered easily. Sometimes I gotta stand up and jump around to shake the jitters.
