What is this?? On 5 min video

At 00m18-00m19 when Mario do his Up-B move and hang on , something fall and it give the feeling that it is mario himself if he couldn't succeed to hang on... I don't know i'f i'm clear about that. What could it be?

Just look by yourself. Sorry for my language (i'm French) and if i'm wrong about this.

Thats sonic's Bumper. If you noticed there sonic used his up b to right when he climbed back up to the stage. Right then Mario used his up b to grab on to the ledge and gained some invincibility frames and the bumper didn't knock him. Nothing fell from mario it was just his regular up b that was sonic's up b. Read it on sonic's special moves if you don't believe me. There is also another video of where Sonic knocks DK with his bumper and it does about 5 or 6 damage ( I just can't remeber exactly ). I don't remeber where the vid is though other than its on youtube if you really want details.

I'm pretty sure it's Sonic doing his up special move right off the ledge causing his spring to fall.

yeah it's pretty hard to see because Sonic does it so quickly but it seems to be that.

Heh, I forsee the bumper being the source of a lot more confusion in the future. Look at that part where Mario drops through a platform and then suddenly jumps WAY into the air, I thought it was a bug at first... then I saw the bumper right under the platform.
