Now, in today's update we were provided with the intracicies of Basic Brawl. We were also informed about Team Brawl. Sakurai did not delve into detail about that (I'm expecting it to be a future update). Now, many have assumed that in this mode, you are paired and fight against another duo. I believe this is correct. However, I believe there will be another option listed here that will allow you to be paired with someone that is playing on the same Wii as you. This is not un-likely and will probably happen. Yur thoughts?

i think its just mainly just gonna be with someone on your wii. off topic a bit but i hope you can do more than 2 min matches online cuz otherwise it'd kinda dum.

I think it's just like Mario Strikers Charged (Football, for PAL folk).

You team up with someone playing on the same Wii as you, just like you said, and are randomly paired with another tandem from a different Wii. This is definitely a great feature to have and Sakurai "really has thought of everything".

It would be great to get a friend on the same wii and play maybe another group of friends.I wish alot of the other modes like 3 stock,SSD,and alot of those other melee modes are in the game.

This mode will probably only work if you have someone else playing the same wii probably. THis is because the possibility that only 1 or 2 people will join over wifi. i don't expect teams to see a lot of play over online

That's gonna suck if all the matches online are two minutes. I love stock battles, it's all I play. Two minutes just isn't long enough to fully challenge someone. I believe that two people will likely be able to play off the same Wii because it wouldn't be very convieniant for two people that want to be on the same team wanting to challenge other teams to be on separate Wii's. Most people I'd imagine would want to play together rather than in two separate houses.

there might be where you can team up with someone on wi fi which could be a lot of fun and sometimes be lame (ie the other guy just dies over and over again, he doesnt do anything, etc.) im not saying it'd always be like that but you never know..
which is why i hope that you can play with a friend on the same wii too. that'd be awesome!

Who says intricacies??? Anyways, me and my bro are pretty good(I tought him in the way of Smash)...and I would hate to be paired up with a 5 year-old who lives out in Texas with his dad, who drinks and says fridgerfrator to his wife when he's hungry.

Maybe you could get a choice of having your own teammate, as in a friend playing with you, or having a randomly assigned teammate like in some other online games. I wonder if they'll randomly give you a color too, in case everyone picks red team or something like that.
