What is Shield Pressure

When you shield, if someone repetitively hits your shield with an attack, such as Meta Knight's forward air, and it depletes your shield's level. That is shield pressure.

Huh... now that we're on this subject, I also have a question. In Brawl's characters' data files, there is an animation named GuardDamage. Pretty self explanatory, an animation of a character with their shield up, and receiving some recoil from the shield being attacked. However, I'm pretty sure these animations are never used. Also, what's the Rebound animation? Although that one could sort of belong in its own topic.
