Smash Journeyman
To the people who actually went, how was it? Yeah I'm sure it was hype, but did you get to play a lot of smash? And how does it like function? I'd just like to know some details, because I plan on attending.

Really? Cause I mean I enjoy watching tournaments at home so I figured I would in person even more. But I'm only 15 and don't have money, is it just everyone money matching or could I play some friendlies?if you've never been to a world class smash tournament before, it's going to blow you away. for someone like me that's been attending international level events for over 7 years, the actual tournament experience has been disappointing two years in a row, but getting to play friendlies/money matches with literally hundreds of people over the weekend pays for itself.
plenty of friendlies. i went to my first tournament across the country when i was 14, by myself. didn't have to do money matches. but just be aware of what you're getting yourself into if you do decide to do any money matches.Really? I'm going as a smash 4 player. Would I be able to play a lot of friendlies there?Yeah I don't know what the Brawl experience was like because I was in the Melee room 24/7.
Thanks. I'm just trying to see how this thing will go down. Im sure I'll enjoy the tournaments, since I enjoy watching them at home I'm sure i would enjoy it there. I just don't know if it's worth going all the way to New Jersey forI wouldn't know, since smash 4 hasn't been at a tournament of this magnitude before. Most likely, there will be plenty of setups though.
Are they other closer scenes near Georgia? Thanks. I'm just trying to see how this thing will go down. Im sure I'll enjoy the tournaments, since I enjoy watching them at home I'm sure i would enjoy it there. I just don't know if it's worth going all the way to New Jersey for
No, Georgia doesn't have much of a smash sceneAre they other closer scenes near Georgia?
that's absolutely not true lol they have a pretty strong melee scene, had some pretty good brawl players as well. No, Georgia doesn't have much of a smash scene
They've got monthlies and two weeklies iirc, have you joined their smash 4 group? No, Georgia doesn't have much of a smash scene
Oh yeah I was talking more of smash 4. But yeah out in Atlanta and around there there is but a lot of it doesn't have muchthat's absolutely not true lol they have a pretty strong melee scene, had some pretty good brawl players as well.
Normally, Apex is an A+ in my book because of the access of the Fat Sandwiches. Now that Apex 2015 is taking place far from New Brunswick, all hype is almost gone. Venture at your own risk.
ALTAS HORAS LANCHES
how many times do i have to say this
10-15 min drive. they're 24 hours. pretty sure they deliver to a certain point as well. TRUST ME, this place far outclasses fat sandwiches, and i lived off fatties in college.
And your Alta Horas is something from my culture so I'm an authority on that. If you're gonna try to push something on, at least make it something that I haven't seen on almost every three-five blocks across a pharmacy.well, i'm from new jersey. i live in new jersey. i encounter these things in new jersey. so i'm an authority on the subject. ya'll gonna whine about the inferior food choice, ya'll gonna get house payments. suck it up and eat the better food. ty.
Lolthisaltas horas is a brazilian joint, not mexican. i wouldn't trust any mexican food in jersey. scratch that - any mexican food that isn't in texas, socal, NM or arizona. it just won't taste as good.
