The fact that you people are debating about whether or not the updates are good or bad is proof that there is considerable hype.

I don't care what the update is as long as it's a new feature or something that wouldn't be explained in the manual, i.e, not widescreen.

Hmm..I wouldnt be tickled pink, thats for sure. But i guess I wouldnt be that upset either. There is only like 50 days left to go anyhow before the Japanese release. We will get our info eventually.

Meh, I already simply take the updates for what they aren't, even the less interesting ones don't tend to upset me too much.

The fact Sakurai wants to save secret characters for after the Japanese launch, I'd say that yes, the updates are going to stay roughly the same with maybe another stage in there somewhere.
