Either people would get less hype(excluding Megaman and Pacman)or they'll just be like "Who in the blue hell is Corrin and where is he/she from?

Well, Corrin most definitely didn't exist in 2013, so yeah, it'd be weird.
Megaman as the ballot winner would be pretty hype though.

Guarantee you very few would have thought to vote for Wii Fit Trainer on the Smash ballot.

The internet would have litterally exploded. Madness would have taken over.
People would be going crazy (both positive and negative) over those annoucements.
Ryu hype would have maybe matched the Mega Man hype.

Other characters orders I imagine it'd be about the same as it was...

The internet would blow up again and be super salty that DLC's are first parties that could/should have been included in the base game (except Mega-Man)...
If they would not be complaining that they are ''minor characters'' (Wii Fit, Villager)
Or that there are too many Mario characters already (Rosalina)

Jesus Christ thinking of this is a nightmare in itself.

It seems really strange, considering how it would be the most hype characters first, then almost all of the later characters would be "meh".
Also, how would Corrin work out if he/she is announced in 2013, but appears in a game that releases in 2015/2016?
