I guess instead of fixing the way the fan worked compared to the way it worked in Brawl, they decided to bypass the issue entirely by removing it. It's a shame. I hate the fan in Brawl, but I love it in every other smash game, even PM.

Well, we already have several explosives that can do serious harm or even KO at low percentages, Pokemon that can do more damage than many final smashes, two items that can one-shot you unless you can tech off a wall, and Magnus (criminy, I hate that guy!). But, yeah, it would get annoying if someone tried to take you all the way up to 999% with the fan.

I wonder if they'll bring it back in the Wii U version. Perhaps the 3DS version was limited to the amount of items you could have in the game and maybe that's why it's absent. I will miss it though..........although having my friends 300% me with it and then proceed to Smash me into oblivion REALLY pissed me off. Not so much fun on the receiving end but definitely when your the one using it. R.I.P. fan.
