What Happened to Our Signatures?

Honestly, recently, its been quite infuriating. I have a signature that I like very much and I would like to be able to attach it wherever I choose to attach it to. However, a new rule has caused it so on most of my posts unless I quote something it won't show up for some weird reason. As an example, I will double post and in my second one I will have a quote and in this one I won't, both trying to get my signatures.

Olimar and Jigglypuff are both my mains, though I use Olimar in tournies. Dedede is my secondary.

Very weird and I wonder why they did this.

And I like expressing my images, which are very compressed in file size for being what they are.

4 MB for a sig is still unreasonable. Stay under 200 KB.

It's something we just had to add because people kept posting their BIG sigs with tiny one line/sentence posts.
