What happen to a spirit that you dismiss?

I mainly wanna know if the spirit stay in your inventory, more specifically in your Spirit List.

I want to dismiss some to level up stronger one but I am scared that I will lose them in my Spirit List and can't have one day a complete List.

I checked and something I dismissed was still in the inventory list.

You can probably get duplicates from everything forever anyway. I haven't tried if a new game in world of light gives you new spirits to collect, but it probably will.

So your main worry should be not dismissing spirits with important abilities or stats.

It's still in the list, you just can't equip it anymore. You really should just dismiss any spirit you are never gonna use.
