What fighter's series is your favorite?

Of the choices listed, the Legend of Zelda is probably my favourite series. Lots of stellar games to be found there.

I also greatly enjoy Sonic and Metal Gear (though Mario is also always a good time).

My favorite series is Metroid, followed by Kirby and Pokémon. My favorite video game is however Earthbound.

Super Mario Bros.!

Mario is the series that I started out with and the series that made me a Nintendo fan. I wouldn't be here right now if it wasn't for Mario and Super Mario 64.

In terms of Series it is Fire Emblem, no contest.

However my fave game ever is Super Mario RPG Legend of the Seven Stars, but it is the only Mario game in my top 10 whereas the whole Fire Emblem series takes 2nd place.

I pick Mario... I love Mario games... or to be specific... the platformer games, the RPG games, the Mario Kart games, and the Luigi's Mansion games. I don't care much for sports and party spin-off games.

I also like Donkey Kong, Yoshi, Wario, Kirby, Pokemon, Animal Crossing, Punch-Out!!, Kid Icarus, Metroid, EarthBound, and Mega Man.

I have yet to play a Zelda game I disliked; even the ones I could find obvious flaws in, I still enjoyed the heck out of. As much as I love the Mario, Kirby and Megaman series'...I have to give props to Legend of Zelda.

It's hard to pick a series since many have a few of my favorite games while the rest of the titles can be mediocre. Like, Super Mario Bros. has SMRPG and Galaxy 2, but it also has the abominable New Super Mario Bros. line of games, as well as Mario Party 9 (ugh) Mine is probably Metal Gear as all the main titles are pretty solid.

Fingers crossed I'll see Chrono on this list some day...

Mario Series of course! Who doesn't love Galaxy and 3D Land/World? I love the Party and Kart series too if they count as Mario Series.

Animal Crossing comes second. Always loved the series and gets excited when new games are coming out.

It's got to be Pokémon, though my interest lies solely with the core series, rather than spin-offs like Mystery Dungeon. The best entries, imo, were Gold/Silver and Black2/White2. X/Y is also great, but I think it needs time to settle; and it will probably be topped by the updated version bound to come out in a while.

Metroid gets honorable mention, particularly the oldies. Super Metroid may be the greatest game I've played; everything about it is excellent.
