-Replace Falco with Wolf
-Remove Doc, Dark Pit, and Lucina - and add Ridley, Dixie, and Chorus Kids instead.

I'd love to go and say what characters 'deserved' to get in over others... but I know in my mind that the 'proper' changes would have cost the development team money and time that simply didn't exist.

Personally, I would replace Dark Pit for Ridley and Dr. Mario for Lip. Obviously however, two brand new characters are much more more expensive and time consuming to make than two clones. And I'm sure it would be the exact same case for every other change you people in this thread are suggesting.

So as much as I dislike Dark Pit and Dr. Mario's inclusion, I think that Sakurai probably did the best he could have possibly done with his development time and so, I'm going to try my best to appreciate all of the good choices he made with the roster.

I'd put The three clones back as alt costumes of their parents. There's no reason they're more special than Alph, Male WFT, FemRobin, Koopalings, etc.

And I'd give ToonLink a new moveset to separate him from Link, and Ganon would get decloned or even get his HW moves.

And if there was a time crunch, why didn't Sakurai bring requested charactrs as clones. I could see Mewtwo or Ridley working, not beautifully, but working, as clones of Lucario and Charizard. After all, look what happened to Ganondorf - he was cloned from a different series.

Yeah. That's one way the roster could have definitely been improved with the notion of a crunch.

Looking at some of the Dark Pit gameplay, I realize that I hate him more than I thought I ever would. In terms of visual design, he has no defining features that set him apart from regular Pit aside from coloring. It's going to be difficult to tell the two apart in 4 player matches and I think I'm going to hate it. :/

Mewtwo and Ridley could definitely work as clone characters. And if it really has to be a KI character, I'd prefer Medusa as a Palutena clone. At least she'd have a silhouette that'd set her apart from her counterpart.
