Official changelog is here: http://www.iupdateos.com/top-stories/ios-8-released-heres-the-full-changelog

Keep in mind that is my opinion. I own an iPad 2. I've only scratched the tip of the iceberg.

Safari:
*The top bar shrinks when the page is scrolled down, and only the domain name of the website is shown (e.g. "smashboards.com"). It was already on the iPhone, but the iPad's screen is pretty big, so what's the point? You can tap it again, sure, but scrolling again just makes it shrink again. You cannot disable this.
*The tab bar only appears when you have multiple tabs open (if the top bar is in its normal form). I don't see the point of this either. The only effect of this is to hide the page name, and I don't like that at all. You cannot disable this.
*The contrast between open tabs and unopened tabs has been reduced. It's really annoying, as it's harder to tell where the boundaries are. I haven't tested to see whether or not the increase contrast option will help with this.
*There's a new tab view if you zoom out when the page is completely zoomed out. There's also a new button for the new tab view.
*The address bar has slightly changed shape, and is more rounded. The progress bar is at the bottom of it, and has rounded sides that match up with the address bar.
*In private browsing, you must log in to the same website in each different tab. I use private browsing so it doesn't spam the address bar with suggestions from my history, so this is annoying for me.
*If you switch to another app and back, you must tap the text entry box to type again. It's minor, but somewhat annoying.
*You are no longer asked whether or not you would like to keep or close your tabs when swapping to private browsing. You now only keep your tabs, and must close them all manually if you wanted to close them all at the start of your session.

Photos:
*iPhoto no longer exists. All of your iPhoto images now appear in your normal camera roll.
*The camera roll has been renamed to "Recently Added".
*By default, when opening Photos, you are greeted with two folders, one for videos and one for "recently added" things. You cannot just have it in the camera roll by default anymore.

Other:
*The Emoji keyboard is automatically installed after you update. The globe icon is a smiley face. You can delete it.
*Autosuggestions from some smartphones have been added. This can be disabled.
*There is a new preinstalled app known as tips. This can be useful for new iOS users, I guess. It cannot be deleted.
*Podcasts is now preinstalled. You cannot delete it.
*You can edit some of the notification center settings right from the notification center.
*Locking no longer fades to black before the display shuts off, and instead the display is turned off immediately, like in iOS 6 and below.

I accidentally clicked on an ad, but I didn't have enough time to stop it from loading.

i can charge my phone with the microwave now
I that app worth it? It's neat to have wireless charging and charging when you don't have a cable, but I don't really understand it.

Personally, I love in the double-click state (I cannot remember the name of this), your favorite and recent contacts are there to quickly access, though I have only done this a few times. The Predictive option is annoying for me, but I can see the usefulness if it predicts larger words. As a health and wellness graduate, I am very curious on how the Health app will work, but so far, seems like the only health related app I own, Nike Run, doesn't link to it. I may be wrong, but I haven't seen any connectivity. Hope this will be more implemented in the future. I also appreciate some of the aesthetic changes. And I need to test out the connectivity improvements among Apple products, specifically my Mac Mini.

More apps I cannot delete is annoying. They need to allow them to be deleted. It's wasted space (in my opinion) and I would rather use it for more music or photos. Also, none of my apps or even messages has allowed me to quick reply. Is this an option I must chose or did I just imagine that from the Apple site?

I do love more connectivity on the phone to my tumblr app. :ness:

It's not an app, it's built into IOS8.

I don't really use a lot of the new features. I have mixed feelings on the safari changes. Didn't really change much from 7. Over all an improvement though.

I've installed iOS8 on my iPad Air and so far, it's been pretty good. I've been getting a number of bugs though. The messages app acts wonky sometimes and the conversation overlaps the keyboard. I have to tap on another conversation and then back to the first one to fix it. Also, the Settings app will sometimes boot me out and refresh itself when I'm doing something. I've yet to make full use of the notification center widgets so I can't speak on that. I'm a bit miffed on the iPad Safari acting like the iPhone safari where the address bar shrinks as I scroll. Though it does present me with more screen estate, I think I preferred the bar before. Battery isn't an issue, thankfully. The iPad is still very much a battery beast.

As for the iPhone, I've yet to update. Nothing in iOS 8 is worth giving up my jailbroken iOS 7.1.2. With a few exceptions, all of the features added are things I can already use myself without the need to update. Not to mention, there's so much more available.

My iPhone charged great in the microwave! Quicker and more efficient than throwing it across the room or toilet death.

So I finally figured out the messaging thing on iOS 8, but it's kinda flawed. Main issue is when I accidentally type anywhere else on the screen when I dragged down the quick reply option, it deletes the whole message. Screwed me over a few times.

Say what you will, but being able to reply to a text without leaving the current screen has been very, very useful to me. I read and write a lot, and I don't like to lose my place.

And the supposed speed loss is exaggerated. Signed, someone on a 4S... I think.

Extremely better than iOS 6 and below. I like the interface and everything. Sadly, I only tried it out at stores so I never had an in-depth experience with it, but by the looks of it, yeah, it's great.
