mulitiplayer is more fun than single player (we'll see for brawl) and i bet everyone plays it the most

Yes, but I can't say I'd be happy with the developers' decision. I also wouldn't pay full price. I might get it used. Co-op play would make it bearable.

First of all, Smash is a multiplayer game, so, it would never happen.
But I'd still buy it, it's all Nintendo characters.

But, I also really enjoy a nice cold glass of Coca-Cola.

Of course you must take into account this is a hypothetical situation, because yes, it would be ludicrous for them not to include multiplayer.

And as for the glass of coke... thanks now I want one too. >:o

Would rent, and if the event matches and single player mods were good enough then I would buy it.

I would rent if smash doesn't have multiplayer although it would be dumb not to have multiplayer to begin with IMO

If it were just a single player adventure, I'm not sure if I would get it. I don't think it would even go down in price, with the name Smash Bros. comes a full price game. You don't get any discounts on Touch Generation games on the Wii so they certainly wouldn't give a discount on a decent single player adventure with Nintendo's logo on it.

I might buy it because there's not a whole lot else I'm eyeballing for Wii in the future, but I'd be mighty disapointed. The only reason I wouldn't buy would be to punish Nintendo, but like they'd care if I didn't buy their one game.

Wisconsin...yay that place no one has ever heard o
Dependes on the "extras" packed in. I mean if the single player mode takes like 5 hours per mode (doubtful) I would still get it, if they have more event matches, more everything, new modes and all, I may still get it.

Melee with no multi = Barbie horse adventures = epic suck

Yeah, if there was no multiplayer I bet each character's story would take FOREVER. Which is awesome... because they will all tie together like Odin Sphere!!!

I will buy this game JUST for the Subspace Emissary, I would buy it again for the multiplayer, but in the end Se is what has me hyped, Melee was a little annoying when it came to 1 player mode

At this point I would buy it if it were just an empty box. But I sure wouldn't be happy about it.

smash is by definition a multiplayer game, take away that and you're buying an empty disc...

I kno this rendition has an awesome single player in it, but at it's heart it's still a great multiplayer game

Of course I would. I rarely get the opportunity to play multiplayer games anyway, so that would be no loss to me.

I don't think I'd buy it.. Yes, it would be great with all those Nintendo characters in one game and everything, but I don't want to buy a Wii and everything just for a game I can only play for myself >_> I don't really have a game I can't play with others. Such games are meaningless to me ...

I'd still buy Brawl, but since I don't have a Wii I don't want to buy a Wii + Brawl for me alone.

Where is your God now!?
LMAO OMG that was one of THE BEST reply's i have EVER SEEN. ahhhhh but four swords was still fun.

Progressing from the original thread question, Do you think SSE is worth buying IF it were a separate game by its own accord. Say, if there was an option to buy a version of Brawl with JUST SSE or the option to buy Brawl with SSE + multi-player, for different prices obviously, would ANYONE buy just the SSE version?
