What Do YOU Guys Recommend... (Now I Need Wavedash Help) Read My Latest Post

What do you guys use and recommend for the easiest ways to do the JC Shine? I want to be able to do it and be able to follow up with Bairs like DSW or practically anything I want. What do you guys use to Jump and to do the aerial and what do you guys find the easiest way to do the JC Shine. I want a lot of people's opinions so I could find the easiest way. Discuss.

Hey can I ask you something? When you gonna wavedash or double shine out of your shine do you use the Ctrl stick to jump or "Y"?

Isn't it 100 times easier to do it with analog?

I have a problem. I know how to wavedash and I could do it. My fingers though, they won't do it. Like I WANT to do it and I try, but my fingers won't move. I just stand there itching to get punished. This has never happened to me before cause I KNOW how to wavedash as I've done it before I pretty much mastered it, but now recently my fingers won't move. Like I try to command my fingers on what to do and they won't do it. I can do any other tricks that I can do with no problem but when I try wavedashing with any character (Even Luigi) my fingers won't move. I feel like I have to FORCE them and that doesn't feel right. Any tips?

I just hold down and kind of snap from y to b again and again. Kind of like SHDL motion, even if you hit A, it won't mess up the maneuver.


Hmm... just WD randomly, you need to make it a habit like L-Cancels.

Eventually you'll learn the spacing and applications and use if fo' real.

same here.. though with falco i don't do the SHDL motion, since it's much slower

@OP - keep practicing, you'll get it down eventually. you need to wait a bit longer with falco since his jump is slow
