What do you do before leaving? (FG)

Hi! I've been playing a lot of Smash lately and lets say it got me to meet very nice people. In FG, if I play a particularly nice person and I had to leave, I would play one more silly match. Then, I would change to Zelda the following match and use Down Taunt (Where she waves goodbye) then I SD. Do you guys do anything before leaving a lobby or not? Share with me!

"I must go." followed by "Smash on!" before I leave. I use in For Fun and For Glory.

I just put my tag as "GoodGames" and leave but most of the time people just leave before I can even tell them that.

I put ggs and then gtg for good players. If I'm feeling the salt I put lag. Usually I just leave after a set without doing anything at all.

I just put in "GGs!" if the person I played against was a good soul and then exit stage left. Though usually, I just leave without saying anything.

Usually nothing, but if I really enjoyed playing with someone I'll say "GGs".

I say GG for the most part if the other player was fun and a good sport, but if I'm leaving from a spammer I always say GitGud after beating them due to their predictability. Thankfully I don't run into spammers often.

Nothing fancy, just tags. If we played a number of matches, I have a "GTG, GGs" tag for when I need to leave. If they specified they were leaving first, either with a similar tag or a "last game" tag, then I have a "BYE" tag for that. Just common courtesy, and all.

Of course, if they were a ragey spoilsport using insulting tags, that's a different story. I'm gonna try to Ganoncide or Bowsercide them and leave immediately, in that case.

Usually spew some vitriolic insult and blame my loss on lag or luck if I lose and if I win I call them a scrub and noob as well as something specific to their character then send them a friend request with a nasty message about how bad they are and condescendingly say maybe I'll let them practice against me some time if they ask nicely.

I hold the B button until the "leave game?" message pops up, then I press A and leave.

If I'm feeling particularly enthused by the opponent's skill, I have tags for "WELLFOUGHT" and "Great game!"

I just go to the nametag, "THX4GGS". because, well, literally; thanks. thanks for 1) not lagging to the point where we're fighting in an hourglass 2) not being mean

If we had some really enjoyable matches, I'll say "Good Games" and leave.

If they insult me I'll say "LOL" and "So Salty".

If possible, I try to use the "LASTGAME" tag, and after said last game, I'll likely say "GreatGame!" and then "G2GBYEBYE!". Maybe I should have a "Bye!" tag, but I think the "G2GBYEBYE!" could cover that, since I apparently have to limit the amount of tags I use (I share the Wii U with 1 of my 3 older bros and said bro's wife)....

'Course, depending on both the circumstances at the time and who my opponent(s) play as, I may just bring out the "NEVERMIND!" tag and stick around for another match.... It's very likely if said character is , , , , or some other uncommon/rare character (I don't consider Zard & Robin rare or even uncommon). It's extremely likely if its or , since they're my mains, and I ADORE -ing them.

If I had fun playing them, I always make sure I use my "GG" and "Bye" tags before leaving. If I know that I will have to stop rather soon, I'll use my "LastGame" tag as well.

Unless the match is laggy, I'll play 2-3 matches (I like doing best of 3 when I can). If I find someone that the connection is PERFECT, I'll stay for longer if our skill level is even. I don't really do anything usually unless I have to leave unexpectedly, at which I'll change my name to "GGSRY" - I will sometimes change my name to "GG" or something at the start of our next match or "ADDMEPLS" if I want to be friends with him or her.

I usually just leave, but I once played against a really cool player. He was really good and played with a ton of personality. During the last game, he picked Shulk, and after KO'ing me once, he yelled "I'm really feelin' it!" and jumped off the side.

i just stand there with robin doing nosferstu as a sign that shes not letting you leave, she will drain your energy so shes not the good kind
