What could the bottom screen be?

Following the success of Pokemon X/Y, Sakurai has decided to borrow one of the key features from the creature-capturing franchise. Welcome to Super Smash Bros. Amie, where you can bond with your fighter to make them perform better! Pet Bowser, match Megaman's facial expressions, and feed Smash Puffs to Kirby and Yoshi! The more you raise your fighter's affection, the more they can shrug off status affects such as Jigglysleep and banana-falls!

"Show me your moves!!" *pet pet pet*
10/10, would buy.

Should also be on Wii U so I can have HD Rosalina waifu simulator.

Notice how that's broken up into 4 columns? Chances are that in a typical VS. match each column will just the Mario one with art, damage, etc.

Yeah I came up with a similar conclusion to that in the previous page.

I would like to see where the power meter of Little Mac and the Dragoon pieces would go though.

Probably lined up along the bottom.

I would love being able to activate my character's Final Smash by touching his "stack" in the touchscreen, the only thing I don't like about FSes is losing the ability to use the standard special move.

Probably a little above the name.

I wouldn't mind if they added 3 different taunts on the touch screen as well. Thus, will give us the use of using the d-pad or circle pad for moving.

Well I think the bottom screen in matches is pretty much self-explanatory at this point in the thread lol. I wonder what the gamepad/bottom screen will show in the other gamemodes like home-run contest or even the menu. Speaking of new gamemodes, I would not be surprised if there would be a new gamemode that deals with the touchpads in someway. Guess we need to wait and see what happens.

Like most of the 3ds games, the menu of course.

But in battle, I have no idea general info on the match? scores? so much possibility but I don't think it will stay black. It just won't be used for the gameplay.

I was thinking that for the Wii U version, since that has a bottom screen too, someone other than the 4 players (4 people on Wiimotes/Pro Control.) can control stage hazards (Yellow Devil and Ridley) and maybe choose what assist trophies, Pokemon, or items spawn.
