It's really annoying whenever my computer suddenly turns into blue screen and then restart. Also, there is some kind boot.ini file at the beginning. What could be the problem with this? It's disturbing especially when I am working on something very important and then suddenly turns off. sigh. help please. thanks!

Probly a shutdown virus. Do a virus scan with avast. Or your computer is overheating.

You, my friend, are likely suffering from the dreaded Blue Sreen of Death. Just do a good virus scan and that should rectify the problem.

windows 2000 on my system,which was just upadated from win.98 .while ...the system reboots on its own.what could be the prob.?this never happened... windows

press f8 while in the screen and you will go into safe mode.Then do a defrag and a disk check .either overloading on programs, and your virtual memory is maxed.

Are the admins here lazy or something? This is an obvious but clever spam bot. You can tell it's a bot when they blatantly advertise viagra but these bots ask questions complete with bad grammar but in the end of their post they link people some weird website.
