Tetra's Tracker
Smash Journeyman
'Company' was the wrong word to use, no they're clearly not their own company, Hudson as a company ceased to exist in 2012 when they were assimilated by Konami. However I think they still very much still have a strong identity as their own 'thing', their own brand, rather than just part of Konami. In other words I think most people still see Hudson as Hudson, therefore I don't see why there's any reason why Hudson itself can't be repped.Wat?
You answered your own question here. Which is that they don't count as their own company because they're owned by Konami.
Bleh, nothing against No More Heroes, Suda51 or Travis Touchdown but I hope he doesn't get in. I hate the idea that a third-party character can get in just because a developer asks Sakurai to put him in. Only the cream of the crop of third-party characters should ever be considered, true icons of gaming, unfortunately Travis isn't that.I think namco and sega
Hes said no special treatment for namco but does not mean he won't think about a namco character
Sega big relations as of this point with nintendo and sonic is very likely to come back
And if theres no namco character then sudo51's character travis touchdown because sudo 51 wants him in smash bros series and he recently said a review he loves the wii u and he rumored no more heroes 3 for wii u but may not have travis in it and since he wants him in he can tone him down for sakurai
Alongside the three third-party characters we already have, these are the only ones I'd ever consider to have join them:
Bomberman
Simon Belmont (likely as a replacement for the less Nintendo associated Snake)
Pac-Man
A famous Nintendo console prominent Square Enix character (Slime, Crono, Sora or Black Mage come to mind)
Banjo and Kazooie (if it ever becomes possible by Rare leaving Microsoft)
