What are the ways to desynch?

Dash-dancing never helped me for whatever reason, and I'm trying to get into this "club" (Where I'm basically required to know how to desynch), so I really need to find a way to desynch fast (I don't mean fast answers to this thread >_>). The only use I see for it without a hours of practice is to use Ice Blocks to slow your opponents approach.
