What are the usual rules for Tournaments?

I've never been to a tournament before, but when I play against my brothers I'd like to play using tournament rules.

All I know is 4stock with 8 minutes

If you repost this thread as many times as you can, somebody in here just might be kind enough to at least redirect you. Or simply lay the ban button on you. Unfortunately I don't know the usual rules because they are usually different.
