I've seen stuff for editing all the textures, the music, and now even a model extractor, but what about the character voices? Anything on that as of yet?

All the voices and most sound effects are compressed in a BRSAR file on the disc. We can unpack the BRSAR and edit the individual sound files, but we don't know how to repack the modified files yet, so the only voice modifications that could be done would involve voices already in the game.

Well, I guess that's somewhere to go from. Can someone provide me with the proper tools, or should I just scour Google for it?

If you drag the BRSAR file in SSBExtract, it gives you a link to the site with the unpacker (IIRC it was called "in_cube")

>< Ugh... So once again, I need to be able to burn SSBB's data to a separate disc?
Isn't there somewhere to download the voice data by itself?

Also, I'm looking for a (free) program to actually edit the voices themselves (or at least the pitch for use in-game). Anyone have that?
Oy, I'm just trying to edit Lucario's voice to fit a custom texture I made (it's to match a Lucario OC I have), meaning I need to edit it to sound like a girl.

would love for bowser to have the same voice/noises that he had in mario RPG. and mario/luigi sounded better in melee/64. especially the throwing noises.

Dude, this would be awesome. And make a Shadow texture swap for Sonic sound like Shadow.

I'd go for all of this big time. Ryan Drummond!Sonic would be cool too. Though Jason Griffith is plain awesome too.

Galaxy Bowser voice for Brawl.

Mario with a WAH-HAH usmash would be b*tchin' >.>

Though it would be equally awesome to replace every voice clip in the game with "YESZ!". >.>

My question is why the **** doesn't mario have a "MAMA MIA" clip when he dies? What the **** was sakurai thinking?

Oh wait, it was sakurai. Hahaha.

Mofo: And that code would be...?
Kuraudo: Meh, I think he sounds more menacing with his Brawl voice, but I can't deny that the SMG voice would be a cool addition.

I'd like to see a setup where you could switch between JP and english voices when you want to. Of course, putting that into the game would be a little difficult...Why didn't they think to keep that feature from Melee? Probably because of the sheer number of voice clips that had to be translated...I also miss my Japanese text function.

As a voice actress I would really love to be able to do this XDDDD
I'd probably make my "Brawl Taunts" cast record the sounds and custom lulzy taunts...I could totally get that put together if someone figures out a way to replace the voices.
