just didnt *shrugs* i tried everything but it always sends me back to the wii home menu after a long pause

Maybe ask around in the Project M forums for specific "why isn't it working" stuff?
As for Brawl, I can tell you that Toon Link can take advantage of his speedy + projectiles to create a lot of distance. And Ike's jabs are very nice for keeping opponents off of you.

Just camp a lot.. learn how to fluently camp and space your back airs. Toon Link thankfully in brawl has an amazing ariel game in brawl unlike in 4 where his bair is slow as hell now. Still hella good rage now though. Bair strings are amazing in brawl too <3
