ok i took this team to two other forums, and they were a$$holes and didn't even try to help. so i'll try my team here. please rate it and please don't chew me out for not being the most experienced player like the other forums did.

Zapdos(Leftovers/Lum Berry)
Nature: Timid
Ev's: 252 Spd, 100 SA, 100 Atk, 58 HP(not too sure here)
-Thunderbolt
-Drill Peck
-Reflect/Light Screen/T-wave
-Roost

haha zapdos makes a kickass pokemon, especially with the addition of roost. obviously the first two are for STAB, but i can't decide on a pseudo-passing move or thunder wave. just as good a starter as he's ever been. but there are other options if need be. although he's one of my favorites.

Infernape(Life Orb)
Nature: Jolly
Ev's: 252 Atk, 252 Spd, 6 HP
-Swords Dance
-Close Combat
-Flare Blitz
-Thunderpunch/Stone Edge/Shadow Claw

plain and simple- beat them down til' you're down. get a swords dance in, and then mop the floor with his insanely powerful STAB moves. flare blitz is insane, at the cost of life, life orb also makes him more powerful, but takes away life. he won't last that long, but he'll kick some *** before he's down. now i can't decide on that last move. thunderpunch is what im leaning towards(waters, flyers, overall type coverage) but stone edge would be for salamence paranoia, and shadow claw would be for gengar and zam. now, with jolly and maxed out speed, he's at 346 speed, which is just doughnuts for a sweeper. and his attack is sitting pretty at 307, but one swords dance puts him at 614, and thats sexy. another thing is, the HP loss of life orb and flare blitz actually helps him because of blaze. i mean if you look at flare blitz this way: blaze+life orb+swords dance+120 base power+STAB=something roasted :) oh ya, and blisskarm? KISS MY ***! i dont care how high their HP/Defenses are, they can't take this guy.

Gengar(Wide Lens)
Nature: Timid
Ev's: 252 SA, 252 Spd, 6 HP
-Hypnosis
-Focus Blast
-Shadow Ball
-Sludge Bomb

ah this guy is so much better with the special/physical differences now. now both of his STAB moves are special, which rocks. and focus blast does tremendous damage compared to focus punch in the advance days. and with hypnosis getting an accuracy boost, and the wide lens item helping it and focus blast out, this guy is an absolute monster. plus, the normal, fighting, and most notably ground immunities are always nice to have. this guy is a keeper for sure.

Swampert(Leftovers)
Nature: Impish
Ev's: 252 Def, 100 Atk, 100 HP, 58 SD(again, not sure)
-Stealth Rock
-Earthquake
-Hammer Arm
-Waterfall

probably the best starter outside of diamond and pearl. Stealth rock is a beautiful move, as now even flyers can be affected(skarmory, zapdos, salamence to name a few) and with waterfall as a physical move, he doesn't need to be mixed. hammer arm is sexy too. earthquake is obvious.

Blissey(Leftovers)
Nature: Modest
Ev's: 124 SA, 252 HP, 100 SD, 34 Def
-Softboiled
-Ice Beam
-Seismic Toss
-Aeromatherapy

specsmence is probably one of the biggest reasons i use blissey, it can take a hit, and shove an ice beam in its face. plus, i hate snorlax and regice so dont tell me to use them. seismic toss is still its main damager, and aeromatherapy and softboiled are obvious. with modest and those Ev's blissey stands at a nice 250 special attack, HP is maxed and the rest is special defense and defense.

Electivire(Choice Band)
Nature: Jolly
Ev's: 252 Attack, 252 Spd, 6 HP
-Thunderpunch
-Ice Punch
-Earthquake
-Cross Chop

this guy is a beast. he has an incredible movepool for an electric type. 345 Attack, 317 Speed, and the choice band too. this guy is amazing. which is good, considering electabuzz sucked lol. now in this case, with him and zapdos, its okay to have two electric types, as they serve different purposes, and they don't have the same weaknesses, so it works.

alright there it is, tell me what you think.

Don't both with Drill Peck on Zapdos, even if it does get STAB. Give it Hidden Power Ice or Grass instead and move those Atk EVs into SpA.

Infernape(Life Orb)

-Swords Dance

Standard Ape, looks fine to me.

Don't bother using Sludge Bomb, it hits so few Pokemon in OU for super-effective, that you'll almost always be using Shadow Ball over it. Go with Thunderbolt or Energy Ball instead.

Swampert always wants near-max HP EVs. Move those Special Defense EVs into HP/Def/Atk, since you'll be able to rely on Blissey for taking special hits. Moveset looks good, although I prefer Avalanche over Hammer Arm, but that's your call.

In OU, nothing hits Blissey hard enough on the special side to warrant giving it any Special Defense EVs. Blissey needs 252 Def EVs and a Bold nature so that she doesn't get OHKO'd by every physical move, incase you make a misprediction, like thinking a Salamence is special when it's mixed. 252 HP/252 Def/4 SpA is the best spread for this set, since unless you put way more EVs into SpA than you should, you are always going to 2HKO those 4x ice weaks anyway.

Electivire(Choice Band)
Nature: Jolly
Ev's: 252 Attack, 252 Spd, 6 HP
-Thunderpunch
-Ice Punch
-Earthquake
-Cross Chop

Making 'vire Jolly over Adamant (or Lonely) is absolutely pointless, since it doesn't help him outspeed anything too important. I'd go with an Expert Belt on him, since he can hit 14/17 types super-effective IIRC, and he's more limited with a Choice item. You could also run with a Lonely nature and 252 Atk/176 Spd/80 SpA and Tbolt over Tpunch to avoid being blocked and then phazed by Skarm

alright there it is, tell me what you think.
Hope that helps

well, i'll probably use HP:Grass on Zapdos for Swampert. still trying to decide on the EV spread, both suggestions were good. I was leanin towards thunderpunch on infernape too because of gyarados. i hate gyarados. i'll probably switch electivire to adamant with expert belt, like frenchfri said. I'll prolly use thunderbolt on gengar incase ape goes down. and the reason i had hammer arm for swampert is for blissey, also incase ape goes down. and blissey i'll just change the EV spread. another thing i noticed is, i might have some problems with scarfcross, any help here?

ScarfCross...

Well, Swampert can take a Stone Edge...
Zapdos laughs at Earthquake...
I believe Gengar is 4x resistant to Megahorn...(LOL Gengar walling Heracross!)
Zapdos can maybe shrug off a Close Combat...

I guess it all comes down to predicting.

If ScarfCross becomes a problem, use Gliscor. Why? Let's see...

Neutral to Stone Edge.
Immune to Earthquake.
Resistant to Megahorn.
Resistant to Close Combat. (Hmm... That's cool! Resistant to both of Heracross' STABs!)
125 Base Defense.
Roost to recover any damage.
Aerial Ace FTW.

Your team looks shockingly similiar to mine, aside from some differences here and there (I have a Zapdos, Gengar, and Electrivire on my team too O_o).

Your Zapdos is different from how mine was built, so I can't comment on it. Looks nice though.

Frenchfri said what was needed on Gengar, and I concur. I swapped Sludge for Energy Ball the other day, actually. Considering dropping my WoW for Hypnosis too. Otherwise, your Gengar is nice. :)

Electrivire is exactly the same (except the nature).

I can't comment much on the Blissey, but I'm sure my Salamence is gonna hate something like that. T_T Nicely done.

Infernape is looking awesome. Like you said, he won't be there for long, but **** will that hurt. I'd go with Thunderpunch. That's just me though.

Swampert, I haven't had much experience with. I had a torterra for a while with Stealth Rock, and I gotta say, I love that move. He's looking nice though.

Good build. Good luck. :)

hmm gliscor. sounds cool. would this work?

Gliscor(Leftovers)
Ability: Sand Veil(incase Tyranitar switches in.)
Nature: Impish
Ev's: 252 Def, 140 Atk, rest could go into HP or something, im not quite sure
-Earthquake
-Aerial Ace
-Roost
-Fire Fang/Curse

well, i guess the first three are obvious because of STAB and recovery. i just don't know too much about that last slot choice. curse i'm not too sure about. i put fire fang for ice types or something idk. 140 Atk Ev's puts it at 260 Atk which seems good to me. maxed out defense and impish puts him at 383 Defense, which is cool, but again, not that sure.

well, i guess that would be cool, but any help here? and where would i use him on the team?

For EVs, ALWAYS max Gliscor's HP. Then, put the rest in Defense and Attack. Impish is good.

Here comes some statistics...

A Heracross with 302 HP and 186 Defense can be made with 31 IVs in both and 6 EVs in HP, but none in Defense. I'm using this as an example because most Heracross run 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 6 HP for EVs and might have 31 IVs in Defense and HP. A Gliscor needs at least 211 Attack to guarantee a OHKO on said Heracross. 211 Attack can be reached with 64 EVs in Attack and an Impish nature, even with 0 IVs in Attack.

Did you understand that? Let me recap.

Gliscor needs at least 211 Attack to guarantee a OHKO on standard Heracross.

zapdos, I'd redo the EVs to make him all special unless you need a heracross counter. Since you probably don't have access to hidden power ice/grass, I'd drop drill peck for for thunderwave and use reflect, since you have blisey. Reflect also lets you roost with essentially no weakness to ground.

infernape, no fix.

gengar I'd drop sludge bomb, since poison is a pretty bad attacking type. Explosion makes a good surprise, as does destiny bond since he's timid.

blissey, if she's serene grace, no fix. If natural cure, I'd drop ice beam for sing. just preference.

electivire, no fix.

swampert, no fix.

Your team is amazingly well balanced, and I see no major common weakness. Beware of choice band/scarf medicham, your team overall has low defense.

9.2/10, best team I've seen on here so far that wasn't mine.

destiny bond gengar eh? interesting. ya, my blissey is serene grace, otherwise i would've used sing like you said. drill peck on zapdos was originally my heracross counter, but it could stone edge me before i even get it off with choice scarf. so t-wave is a good option, i'll use it if i can't get the Hidden Power i want. and thx, i'm glad my team is appreciated. for medicham, im sure swampert can take a hit, and then depending on what he uses, i can run off of that. (if he uses a fighting move, i can switch to gengar and he's screwed) but its definitely something to think about.
