You know, as upsetting Jar Jar Binks winning the Hunger Games is, just remember this isn't the first time we had an unlikable character win a Hunger Games. This guy did it first:

Anyone who has seen the Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works anime would know what an unlikable scumbag Atrum Galliasta is.

Atrum summoned Caster for the sole purpose of having her summon the Dragon of Colchis, but when Caster revealed she could do so but couldn't control it, he made all of his side chicks laugh at Caster, and he violently kicks away his wine stand out of anger while calling Caster "useless." He then forces Caster to sleep on her summoning circle (which is on a cold, hard surface) for the night rather than on a bed.

The next day, Atrum introduces Caster to his alchemy lab (where he liquifies children into magic crystals), and when she demonstrates how she can produce superior magic compared to what he does in the facility, he uses a Command Spell to prevent Caster from using Rule Breaker to avoid a possible backstabbing from a "treacherous witch." He then punches Caster to the ground and later tries to work out a deal with Kirei to eliminate her.

Luckily for us fans, Atrum receives a really satisfying death where Caster destroys his alchemy lab and reveals she used Rule Breaker on herself to break her contract with him before trapping him in an illusion that depicted Medea's legend, ultimately culminating with Atrum getting burned to death.

Atrum isn't as hateable as Shinji, Zouken or (arguably) Gilgamesh, but he is still quite the despicable character.

I can already imagine how Atrum and Jar Jar will interact with each other should they meet up sometime.

Atrum: "Well well, I heard about that one Hunger Games match. People initially thought that beloved maid duo won, but it was later revealed that you killed them and then went on to be the true winner of that Hunger Games. Boy, what a surprise that was."

Jar Jar: "Messa'm shock about da victory, but now everyone flips out at messa cause of it."

Atrum: "That's because your a character that lives on infamy for many. If you feel bad about it, know that you are not alone. When I won the Hunger Games, I too unleashed the rage of the Fate series fans because they hate me just as much as your hatebase has towards you."

Jar Jar: "Yousa bombed friend. Gonna weesa hang out sometime?"

Atrum: "Absolutely. I think we can reach common ground. I'd love to show you my alchemy lab as well."

Jar Jar: "Alchemy lab? Messa wanna see it!"

Atrum: "Sweet, just make sure you don't wreck it like a certain woman did."

After this, I think for one of these rounds we should all nominate characters or things that we hate just for the heck of it.

Joker's fate reminds me of what happens to the Cyclops in The Odyssey, except here, I can imagine the other contestants asking it like this:

On the one hand, I'm mad that JarJar had to kill one of my contestants yet again, and if JarJar killed the Masked Knight as well, my rage would resemble Eren's back in Season 1.

But now that it turned out Jar Jar killed himself in doing so, I feel relieved.

Here's hoping the Masked Knight wins in the end!
