Weird Yoshi double jump thing.

Watch this through and then go to frame-by-frame mode when I do the down throw.

Yoshi flies off the stage, most likely just due to Amsa holding right, and then he double jumps but keeps going down.

Is this a known happening?

He still had downward momentum from the down throw but was out of hitstun. I think its similar to flying off the stage when amsah teching at high percent

That is a known glitch/thingy and is easily reproducable. Since Yoshi has already bounced the dthrow is no longer a meteor and can't be meteor canceled.
I'm not 100% sure but I think it only works when Falco has his back towards the ledge making Yoshi face outwards.

According to aMSa it has to do with port priority. PewPewU asked about it.


aMSa: it happens against Falco and Fox Down-throw. when Yoshi's port number was lower than them and Yoshi didn't tech.
