weird perfect falcon kick thing

if you do an aerial falcon kick close enough to the ground, it won't have any startup. the easiest way to do this is on a platform you can easily do a perfect waveland on (i like the top platform on yoshi story.) it's not practical at all, but it's still cool. he's basically on the ground as if he falcon kicked into the ground so that little tap of knockback is still there. and he still says "falcon kick."

if you don't know how to perfect waveland, here's an easy way i learned from watching silentspectre. do a running shorthop on yoshi story, and do your double jump backwards, making captain falcon flip. right when it looks like his back/neck are touching the top platform, waveland horizontally. get the timing right and you should be able to waveland all the way across the platform.

if at that exact moment you do a falcon kick instead of an air dodge, you will do the funny-looking flameless falcon kick.

this can also be done on the ground, but of course, it's must more difficult to perfect waveland on the ground. if you can find any practicality to this, i'd say it's useful from a ledgehop. more flashy than anything, though. enjoy falcon kicking.

WA calls it the heavy land cause it looks like he lands normally cause of no fire, but he makes a fat noise and smoke.

you can't rule out any technique many people have weird outlooks on this game to come up with all types fighting style mindgames

I'm pretty sure he says "Falcon Kick" after the attack, which is good because saying before (as per usual) will usually get you shielded...stupid racecar driver

Too bad this technique is pretty much reserved for mindgames and surprise wtf attacks only.

i also love the taunt cancel on pokemon stadium's windmill... when a part of the windmill is almost vertical but you can stand on it, you will fall after taunting... so falcon will be falling while saying "show me your moves." you can also time it so that you do an aerial while he is saying the taunt LOLOL.

i wonder if someone can aim and time this so perfectly that he can cancel an aerial falcon kick with that windmill... ROFL
