So my metagame against Dr. Mario has improved quite a lot. I used to always get caped by his recovery, but reverse upB much more often now to avoid the worst of the situation.
That being said, I've encountered some weird event a few times. While recovering back to the stage, I upB(not reversed), and get caped right before grabbing the ledge, while being right above the ledge. As I get caped, I (think I) teched it by pressing R, and somehow still managed to grab the edge, right after getting caped, even though I've been reversed in direction.
Wether it's a glitch, weird tech, or simply him whiffing his cape, It was very strange, yet satisfying.
