Weird Falco Shine Problem

Hello all, I have recently been running into a very frustrating problem when I try to shine after L-cancelling any shffled aerials. Instead of shining I will simply just crouch, and I have no idea why. And yes, I am pressing "B". Here are videos of what happens and what I want to happen.

If the videos don't work tell me and I will fix... but they should be working. Also sorry for bad quality I recorded on an iPhone 6.

1. be sure to hit the l-cancel, I personally always play on 20XX with the red flash on missed l-cancel on.
2. wait a heartbeat longer before you shine. still too early ? wait another heartbeat longer.

So you've got your nair-shine down, even if it's not tight AF and definitely not safe on shield for example.
That's not an issue, as you land a billion nair-shines in the next weeks or so, they'll get perfect soon enough : with the nair low enough, the FF on the first availible 1 or 2 frames, robot-automatic l-cancel, and lightning quick shine and all.

Also that's the kind of question you could've asked on the falco discussion thread, doesn't really need a new thread.
