Weekly Smash Fest In Springfield,MO

Hi, I'm trying to start a smash fest group for people who want to play Smash 4 competitively in the area, I was wondering who would be interested in going to an event where we could play in a round robin style tournament where whoever has the best record, wins and takes the tournament. This event would be held at Next Level Games on 1928 S Glenstone Ave with a very limited amount of set ups for now but the 3DS version is still there for people to play when waiting for their match. Just say if you would be interested and ask if you have any questions. I will set up a date soon for when the Wii U version comes out next week.

Hey I realize this post is kinda old, but I've just moved to Missouri from California, and I've noticed a severe lack of Smash community here in Springfield. I'm not quite set up with all my equipment where I live now, so it's hard to practice for tournaments and just generally stay active on Smash 4. I was wondering if you'd still be down to get some type of thing organized here in town, or at the very least knew of some place to practice (as I explained, don't have my wii u with me at the moment).

No, in my apartment at the Polo Club. It will be a place for us to meet and train since there are no current weekly places to play in Springfield.I've really been wanting to start a little scene down here for a long time but never got any people to really get it started with. This 1st time will just be a chance to get to know one another and play each other in our group. And hey, maybe we'll get a little round robin going.

I'll start it out small and then grow as we get more comfortable with this, but for now I'm just testing the waters for the first one. Also because my mom still isn't sure about the smash scene and inviting new people into her house.

Hey, I live in Blue Springs a little north of springfield; I'd be interested in an actual event if such a thing ever comes to be, however, I would not be interested in a house event.
