Welcome to the new and improved way to find the most exciting tournaments to watch each weekend: Weekend Watchlist! We help fans satisfy that craving for Smash content by sifting through the tournaments and streams planned for each weekend and coming up with the best to tune into. Without further ado, here is the Weekend Watchlist!

HFLAN: Melee Edition

The first tournament in the recently announced European Smash Circuit, HFLAN Melee Edition is looking like it will be the biggest, chillest, and most exciting tournament this weekend coming out of France! Taking place from May 9th to May 10th, the tournament not only features free drinks and couches to play on for those attending, but will boast impressive talent spanning eleven countries and three continents as well. Some of the best from each region include:

United Kingdom's Top 4: Professor Pro - Fuzzyness - Vanity Angel - Deathgazer
Italy's Best: AvengerAngel - Seya
Solid German Contenders: Jon_ass - Mawakate - MISTRRLOVE
Belgium's 2nd: AngelFail
Switzerland Stunners: Jah Ridin' - Poney -
Netherland Knockouts: Amsah - Jim Morrison
Top French Players: Tekk - Cyr - Mahie - Baxon

The USA will be represented as well thanks to an eight hundred Euro donation drive on smash.gg to bring Poor | Zhu to the tournament! Project M and Wii U singles will also be available at the event with names like Gluttony and Leon. The event is set to be streamed by SaltyPlayground with a schedule being released soon. For more information on the tournament check out its Smashboards thread.

A unique tournament coming out of Toronto, Bottom Tier Battle 2 will feature Smash 64, Melee, Brawl, Project M, and Smash for Wii U. The catch? For more information about the event check out its Smashboards post.

So choose a stream, maybe fire up multitwitch, and satisfy that need for Smash with the coolest events around! If there are events that should be featured in next week's Smash Entertainment mention them in the comments below or Tweet them out to @ LiteralGrill LiteralGrill .

Great posts! I'd love to see these more often. These are helpful for when there's a crazy amount of tournaments to watch one weekend. The weekend of Sandstorm, was also MY tournament, Royal Treatment in GA, and another tournament... so I was going back and forth constantly. Also, multitwitch for the win.

Or I could.. you know.. play Smash. In fact you should do a what to play this weekend like: this weekend you should play SSBB, Wind Waker and Mario Kart DS. I dunno.

This is a great idea, but I wonder if you'll post anything if nothing is happening on the weekend. Lol
There is seriously a decent Smash tournament every weekends from what I've seen, even if there's only one or two we can cover them :D

This a sweet idea, we get to know the good stuff to watch, and on weekends without big tournies, small channels will get a lot more viewers (hopefully).

About the Bottom Tier Battle... PM doesn't have a low tier. Or a high tier, really. Everyone is on the same tier?
